How to spot a newbieee

Sometimes I hang out with Mark's friends who are so young (compared to me and my friends) and it reminds me of the days when I kinda first got here.

Then, sometimes I look around in the city and see these newbies. You know.. overseas students who just came here to study this year.

They are sooo easy to spot. It'll be about their 1st,2nd month here already so they are starting to blend in but you can still spot them. It was so easy to spot them about 1 month ago.

Oh you know newbies..

- Nicely dyed/cut hair, so that it will last them 1 year before they go back home.
- They wear nice jeans, practical nice jeans.
- Usually very new clothing, usually sportswear of some sort for 'dual' function.
- Don't know how to wear a scarf well (usually)
- Wearing comfortable sneakers, you know, so they can walk to school, be comfortable and still be cool.
- They carry big bags that are the right size for uni books and is ok to bring out for outings as well. Again, 'dual' function.


hahahaha.. I have more.. I'll think of them later.
