Yesterday when I drove home from work, I thought about the big footy game that I heard on the radio that was going to happen that evening. At the MCG of course. And right at the intersection of swan st and punt rd where the avid footy fans flock to around afternoon to start settling down for the game, guess who just LOVESSS to park their lazy arses there and clean car windows?
That's right, homeless-Mobile-Greasy- Window-wipers. I said this before and I'll say it many times before I leave this country, I HATE THEM.
Everyone knows about my frequent encounters with them. They just LOVE to pick my car to wash somehow. Is is something about the purple shade of the car that screams "CLEAN ME!". Because no matter how much I shake my head, wave my hands or avoid eye contact, they will clean my windows with their greasy water bottle 'juice' of cheap soap and drain water. And whenever I refuse to pay because I did not ask them to wipe my car window, they will spray water at my car. One of them even lifted up my car wipers such that I had to get down the car and put it down.
The encounter a few weeks ago have left me so scarred I literally DREAD going to the junction now on footy nights. I'm SACRED of them. And I hate it. I have no right to feel this way and yet I do. Simply because these violent good for nothing people out there are forcing me to pay them when I didn't ask them to wipe my windows.
I hate them. I hate them to their very core. I often see them on TV blaming the government or foreigners 'Taking their Jobs". But the truth is, they themselves are not worthy of a job. They don't even want to find one, They spend all their window wiping money on drugs and alcohol then complain that their government is not taking enough care of them. Hello?! You guys already have centrelink. In many parts of the world, there is no such thing as welfare. Just charity to people who need it. And they definitely do not qualify.
Last year I paid close to $4000 in taxes. And where does all this money go to? Well part of it goes to useless bums like these people. That is why I really hate the concept of welfare and medicare. Somehow people here don't see how lucky they are, and still complain that they do not have enough. It just seems to me that too many people are abusing the welfare system. And who is funding all of this? Tax payers of course.
The other day, I watched a programme on todaytonight, about a 16 year old girl who has such large breasts, that she has back problems and cannot get a job and go to work. She cannot even get out of bed without her mum helping her. She came onto the programme to complain about how medicare will not fund her breast reduction surgery because it is considered an optional surgery. She was so unhappy about medicare not funding the $6000 surgery that she came onto the programme to tell the world about how 'horrible' medicare is. She says she 'simply cannot afford the surgery' and so apparently she has to live on her mum forever.
Before you think that I am a cold heartless bitch. Hear me out. I in fact, empathise with her. I understand how painful your back can become with such heavy weight on your chest. In this case, 2 weights. Ha. But, if at the end of the day, if medicare is not going to provide it, stop complaining and move on. Beg, borrow, set up a foundation to get your surgery done. Then repay your debts. Don't say that you are going to live on you mum forever because you cannot get a job at this state! Where's your fighting spirit? Has all these healthcare privileges made you all lazy? You are responsible for you. Not anyone else!
end rant!
